5Get these!
By Tyler Hyder
Best thing (of way to many things) that I ever bought for my bike (Harley Davidson Dyna). Team these with the heel rests and you are BETTER than floor boards. Greatly increases comfort and endurance on long rides. I have a bad back, and these have been a life saver (and ride saver) for me. Lets you move your foot around if you want. Multiple riding positions. AWSOME is not description enough.

4Kuryakyn ISO Pegs

These Pegs look great and are of an excellent quality. However, i tried to fit them on my Shadow Aero VT750C ABS 2012 and they are not compatible.

4I think they got it backwards, but they're good
By Charlie B
Here's what I have - 2004 Twin Cam Wide Glide. I got it used, and it had the Harley branded "diamond-plate" grips and pegs up front. They looked nice, with raised rubber in a diamond plate pattern. But they have no comfort whatsoever.

I like to take long trips - 250miles or more is the norm, 400 miles a day is not unheard of, even 550 miles in a day once or twice. I need some "comfy" in the peg department!

The problem I was having was even with boots - RedWing's - with good arch support, eventually the arch of my foot was getting sore from taking the abuse of a rather hard peg. I wanted wider pegs, more rubber. I tried some "wing" pegs from Kuryakyn, but my feet kept slipping off them, due to the swept edges. The Kuryakyn Dually pegs seems to be the way to go - wider, and lots of rubber to soften things.

Everything was as expected, they mounted up just fine. The male type mount was a little thinner than the HD factory one, but a li ttle extra bend to the anti-rattle spring cured that.

I like 'em, but had a problem.

The problem is, the mounting screw runs through the forward section of the peg. So far so good, but what happens is - it sets rear portion of the peg a good inch and a half rearward from where you foot is used to being. Doesn't sound like much, right? Wrong.

Instead of shifting with the part of my big toe connected to my foot, now I hadda use the tip of my toe to shift. By the way, I also got the matching shift lever. Braking, even with the new Kuryakyn brade pedal pad, was also much different. Instead of the ball of my foot, I now used the middle of my big toe to apply the rear brake.

Thinking about it for a second, the choice was clear. Swap left and right side pegs! Doing that, it legs your heel hang on the back of the peg, as it ought to, and the relationship of the rest of the controls to your foot placement is as it should be, instead of an inch and a half out of place.

I also found, my feet tend to stay in place better - due to the straight part of the peg being against my foot. No angles and such - they're up at the front edge now.

Everything works fine with the pegs reversed. I cant be the first person to realize that things may be better when reversed, but I thought I'd share it with you.

The pegs are super comfy. Fit and finish are excellent. Rubber can be swapped out when worn. I took a 30 mile run just to get the feel of things, and they feel nice. The angle of the pedal is finicky for comfort. Having a helper when tightening the peg helps (but not absolutely needed). The helper can assist with getting the angle of the wide peg "just so" to maximize the effect the wide peg will have on the sole of your boot. Since legs and feet are all different, everyone's angle will be unique to them.

They probably deserve a "5 star" but they're getting a 4 st ar rating, just because, and also because some of this could be explained with instructions - that were not present in the bubble formed kit.

Big plus for little chrome toppers to spiffy up the socket head set screw ends.
